Guide to Child Friendly Places and Activities Around Ireland launched

SMA NUTRITION, the trusted baby feeding company, has launched a special booklet for parents this summer with information on child friendly hotels and restaurants as well as a range of fun activities and summer camps happening around Ireland this summer.

As modern parents, we are constantly faced with choices choices about how to raise our children, choices about what kind of parent we want to be, and so on.

As the concept of family has changed so much since our own parents were children, and as the makeup of the family is constantly evolving, we need to spend more valuable time together enjoying quality time.

“It is sometimes challenging to find child friendly restaurants and hotels in Ireland, where parents can feel comfortable bringing their children,” said SMA Celebrity Mum Lorraine Keane.

“Therefore, we have collated a list of recommended places from around the country to help you select a suitable childfriendly destination.” SMA Nutritionist, Aine Waldron, has included tips to keep your kids happy and healthy during the holidays.

The booklet also includes a comprehensive list of activities and events to keep your young ones busy and entertained over the long summer holidays.

The hotels section includes a broad list of hotels around Ireland who make a particular effort to welcome children with all the little extras that can make a break really enjoyable for both parents and children. It also gives ratings on cost from budget to luxury so that you can decide how much you wish to spend.

“In many restaurants, the children’s menu can be quite limited and can make it difficult to choose nutritious options for your little ones,” said Aine Waldron “The choices are often chicken nuggets, sausages, fish fingers and burgers, which should not be a regular part of your child’s diet. If you are bringing your children to a restaurant, it should be an experience for them and an opportunity to try new tastes and textures.”

For free copies of the SMA Choices Booklet please write to: SMA Choices, PO Box 7808, Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin.
