The Roscommon Roads Policing Unit stopped these two cars and detected road traffic offences.

Roscommon Roads Policing Unit (RPU) yesterday evening stopped two cars within an hour for road traffic offences at different locations.

On the first stop, the driver had no insurance and was driving with a suspected false driving licence.

The car and the ‘driving licence’ were seized and a court appearance awaits the driver.

Just over an hour later, Roscommon RPU stopped a second driver who had no insurance, no tax, no NCT, a bald tyre and a missing headlight.

This car was immediately seized and this driver is also facing a court appearance.
