Met Éireann has issued a yellow rain warning for Cork and Kerry on Sunday.

The warning will come into effect at 2 pm on Sunday until 9 am on Monday.

Met Éireann has warned of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.

Saturday will be dry for the rest of the day, with just isolated showers, and some sunny spells will develop. The highest temperatures of six to nine degrees.

Saturday night will be a cold and mostly clear night with some showers, mainly in the north and west early in the night.

Frost and possibly some ice will form in places with the lowest temperatures of minus two to two degrees.

Sunday will be dry and bright tomorrow morning with just isolated showers.

However, cloud will build from the west with rain following into the west and southwest in the early afternoon, extending eastwards to all areas by early evening as southerly winds increase from fresh to strong.

Highest afternoon temperatures of four to eight degrees.
