Boyle's representatives with the Mary Quinn Cup at the homecoming celebrations for the All-Ireland winning Roscommon intermediate ladies' footballers.
Boyle GAA congratulates the Roscommon Ladies team who were winners of the All Ireland Intermediate Championship title on Sunday, what an achievement. Boyle LGFA was proudly represented by club players Aisling Feely, Ruth Cox, Megan McKeon and Saoirse Wynne. Saoirse went on to be awarded the Player of the Match for her performance in Croke Park on Sunday, well done to all the team and management.
Jackie Valentine the lucky winner of this week’s Boyle 50/50 prize draw for €1,865. The next draw will take place on August 8th in Dodd’s.
Aughanagh Cemetery Mass takes place on Sunday, August 9th at 12 noon. (There will be no 10 a.m. Mass in Ballinafad.)

Boyle Family Resource Centre and Boyle Counselling & Psychotherapy Centre is closed for a summer break. The team look forward to welcoming back and will reopen as usual on Monday, August 10th refreshed and ready to help.
Please come along this coming Saturday, August 8th to Cootehall’s annual fun day at the waterside park from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.. In addition to the usual great barbecue, face painting, dog show, basketball competition and tug of war, Rakish will be playing in the park and later on Rory McDonald will entertain in Henrys. This year sees Ireland taking over the presidency of the Council of the European Union and to mark the occasion the Village Enhancement Group has joined forces with the McGahern Barracks to bring you a Taste of Europe and Beyond where there will be a showcase of a variety of dishes from the different countries represented by people living in the village. These sorts of events are very volunteer intensive so please contact a committee member if you would like to help on the day.

Congratulations to Leah McCawley and the Roscommon intermediate ladies panel and management on being crowned All-Ireland Champions after a fantastic performance in Croke Park on Sunday which capped a tremendous year for Roscommon LGFA.
