After three fun filled months of rehearsals and four spectacular performances the curtains were lowered on Boyle Musical Society’s 40th production, ‘Curtains’. Thanks to the enthusiastic and gifted production team, committee, stage crew, tech team and orchestra, all ‘Show People’ working together to bring this production to life, not forgetting all the volunteers in catering, stewarding, front of house, make-up and hair, shop, programme and raffle sales. Well done everybody. Thanks also to the audiences who came out in such huge numbers to attend the show. Thanks to all the local individuals and especially the businesses that sponsored the show.
Boyle Golf Club’s Management AGM is scheduled for Sunday, December 7th in the clubhouse at 5 p.m.. Any motions for consideration should be submitted to club secretary Mark Whelan seven days in advance. All members are both welcome and encouraged to attend.

Many stands are already booked for homemade cakes, tarts, jams, chutneys, mince pieces, scones, puddings etc. Christmas table center pieces and all kinds of crafts, fresh flowers, etc, crochet and knits, essential oils, organic products, veg etc., gifts personalised for your Christmas presents and lots more. Boyle Palestine Solidarity Campaign will host a table quiz on Friday, November 28th at 8.30 p.m. in the Mayfly Inn, Ballinafad, Boyle F52 H972. This is a fundraiser for Gaza with all proceeds to Gaza go Bragh. Lots of craic and prizes on the night.
Saturday, November 29th is International Day of Solidarity with the people of Palestine. There will be a gathering on the Square in Roscommon at 3 p.m. to mark this very important day. It is important to remember the people of Palestine continue to suffer untold horrors. Please support, musicians very welcome.

Roscommon SPCA will be holding its annual gate collection at St. Joseph's Church, Boyle on both Saturday 29th and Sunday, November 30th. Roscommon SPCA is run by a team of dedicated volunteers with all money donated going directly towards animal welfare in the county.
