CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations are extended to Mrs Teresa Donlon of Foughill, Trien, on winning the All-Ireland Employee Excellence Award at the Irish Restaurant Awards at the Clayton Hotel, Dublin on Monday, May 18th. This is indeed a well-deserved award for Teresa who was an employee of Hester’s Golden Eagle Restaurant for over 36 years before retiring two months ago. She always had time for the many customers that she served over the years. She always had that friendly smile and time to have a chat with them. All those that frequented Hester’s over the years had great time for Teresa. She was popular with them all. This is a great honour for Teresa and her family, for Hesters, the people of Trien and the town of Castlerea. Well done, Teresa. It could not happen to a better person. She also won the Connacht award in Westport two months ago.
