There is an expectation in Government that the union side will seek hefty pay increases, as workers have seen the value of their wages diminished by the recent spike in inflation.

There are still some cases where workers in Ireland aren’t allowed access to toilets in restaurants which “clearly violates workers’ right to dignity”, a trade union will tell TDs and Senators.
