Donegal animal charity, Animals in Need, said the bag was tied so tight it probably was intended to suffocate the kitten before it was dumped.

The huge fish was discovered by friends out walking yesterday morning at the Back Strand in Falcarragh.

The incident took place on the N56 near Falcarragh at about 1.30pm on Tuesday
