Parish priest Fr John Dunphy told RTÉ radio’s Morning Ireland that the vigil was an opportunity for the whole community “to show their support to the young ladies and the young boy and their families and I think the community is very anxious to do that.”

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic incident in the Graiguecullen area of the town shortly after 11:30 am.

Mother-of-two Linda Costello was found at a house in Graiguecullen, Co Carlow on Thursday, March 26th shortly after 6am.

The incident unfolded at a house in the Heatherhill housing estate, Graiguecullen, on the Laois/Carlow town border at around 1pm on Wednesday
