The August bank holiday marks one of the final major getaway weekends before the end of the summer holiday season

Passengers travelling this August Bank Holiday are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive in good time for their flights.

People who are going on day trips are urged to check the weather forecast including tides and to ensure that they have the right equipment for the activity they are about to undertake on the water.
