RTÉ said it will not hand over non-broadcast footage to The Health Information and Quality Authority (Hiqa) without a statutory or legal obligation

Simon Harris also said the state is too reliant on private nursing home care.

Nursing Homes Ireland said it wanted to raise awareness around the challenges of the Fair Deal scheme.
