The collision occurred at Con Colbert Road shortly after 11am.

The man (20s) was arrested in connection with the seizure and is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at a garda station in Dublin. 

Mr Berry from Ballyfermot, Dublin, had launched defamation proceedings against the Garda Commissioner after an image containing his name and photograph on a Garda notice board was circulated on social media in 2019.
