The Special Criminal Court sentenced Mark "Fishy" Salmon (33), of Kilbarron Avenue, Kilmore, west Dublin, on Monday for making threats to kill people or damage their property, as well as the possession of €35,000 worth of cocaine and the proceeds of crime.

In the same incident, Mark Salmon (33) told the woman that he would drive over her son with his car, and if he was still not dead, he would "put a bullet in his head".

Mark Salmon, of Kilbarron Avenue, Kilmore, West Dublin, was originally charged with a total of 16 offences, including directing a criminal organisation, making threats to kill or cause serious injury to several individuals and making demands with menaces for more than €250,000.
