Dublin Simon Community said its facility could be an international ‘gamechanger’ on how to help people who are homeless.

Dublin Simon Community’s centre at Usher’s Island has a capacity of 100 beds but currently has funding to operate 75 of them.

The event, in its 15th year, saw hundreds sing along to musicians on Christmas Eve

A total of 14,864 were recorded as homeless last month, a drop of some 335 compared with the previous month.
