The panel of seven men and five women deliberated for four hours and 20 minutes before delivering their majority verdicts on Thursday in the trial of the Ward brothers.

Dr Chloe Doran said there were innumerable pellet wounds to Anthony McDonagh when he arrived at Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore on the night of March 21st, 2025.

Two brothers have gone on trial at the Central Criminal Court charged with trying to murder another pair of brothers living at the unofficial site in Co Offaly last year.

The court heard the man was a registered sex offender and failed to notify gardaí about his change of address.
