A man, aged in his 20s, has been arrested over alleged threats to a politician over the fuel protests

"Overall I was shocked, terrified and feared for my safety," Roisín Linnane told the Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.

Ronan Lupton SC, for Mr Guerin who is also a member of Fingal Council, said the man who made the threat had been in court along with a number of other people who also attended some of the defamation case.
