Tánaiste Simon Harris will brief the Cabinet on the new Derelict Property Tax on Tuesday.

“There is much more the government must do if we are to meaningfully tackle dereliction," Green Party Councillior, Janet Horner said.

A new Derelict Property Tax was announced as part of Budget 2026 to replace the Derelict Sites Levy.
