The total number of individuals arrested to date in relation to the investigation now stands at 38.

Following an alleged sexual assault by a 26-year-old man on a girl aged 10 at Garter Lane in Saggart on October 20th, 2025, violent scenes broke out in Citywest, Dublin.

On Friday, gardaí carried out search warrants in south Dublin and arrested three juvenile males as part of this investigation.

The accused, aged 26, who cannot be identified due to the nature of the charge, faced his third hearing on Wednesday when he appeared via video link before Judge Alan Mitchell at Cloverhill District Court.

Of the 31 people who have been arrested so far, 28 have been men, including five teenagers.

Judge Áine Shannon granted legal aid to all five and ordered the disclosure of prosecution evidence to defence lawyers.
