The decision came during High Court proceedings which saw Mr Burke and members of his family removed by gardai due to disruption.

Mr Burke has been in jail since November for breaches of a court order directing him not to trespass at Wilson’s Hospital School where he worked.

A judge at the High Court said fines and security measures at the school had failed to prevent Mr Burke from trespassing.

Mr Burke has previously been sent to prison for contempt of court following a dispute with Wilson’s Hospital School.
