The company behind the Penney’s retail brand is to lodge plans for a new outlet close to Ennis town centre in the coming days.

The opening of the new retail concept represents a £2 million (€2.4 million) investment in the city centre and the creation of over 40 new retail job

Located in the Bray Central shopping centre, the new store will span 19,600 sq. ft of retail space across one floor.

The site is occupied by the existing Penneys store with a number of other smaller retail units, most of which are currently vacant
