Missed out on Taylor Swift? Head to North Roscommon instead for Night & Day
Beatles tribute band ‘The Mersey Beatles’ are lined up to play at this Year's Night and Day Festival at Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle.
The Night and Day Festival is underway at Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle. If you missed out on Taylor Swift never mind there's plenty of entertainment on offer in North Roscommon his weekend as the Night & Day Festival gets into full swing.
Gardai have advised that a traffic management plan is in place for this event and patrons arriving to the festival by car are reminded that access to Lough Key Forest Park through the main Forest Park entrance is not permitted. "Instead they should enter at the gated entrance from the L1019 (near the Knockvicar road junction with N4) and they will be directed to the car park," said Gardai.
A shuttle bus service is in operation which will provide great assistance.
The family zone will run from midday on both Saturday and Sunday so drivers are advised to exercise caution in terms of pedestrians especially as there are a significant number of children attending the event.
Access to the park and facilities are closed to the public for the duration of the festival weekend.
"Enjoy your weekend at Night & Day and act responsibly," Gardai said.
