All-Ireland winner to host Gambling Awareness Workshop in County Roscommon GAA Club

An All-Ireland footballer winner with Armagh will host a Gambling Awareness Workshop in County Roscommon GAA Club on Thursday (this) evening, November 13th.

Oisín McConville will be in Clann na nGael GAA Club, in association with the club’s health and wellbeing committee, for a Gambling Awareness Workshop entitled The Real Odds.

The workshop will explore the impact of gambling and the journey to recovery, shared through McConville’s powerful personal story and experience.

The workshop will get underway in the Clann na nGael GAA clubhouse, Johnstown, at 8 p.m..

McConville is the current manager of the Wicklow senior footballers. 

As a player, he won one All-Ireland title, two All-Stars and seven Ulster senior football titles with his native Armagh.
