Awards for several local hair and beauty salons

Several Roscommon beauticians and hair salons have been recognised for their talent at the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards 2025.
Salons across the county won awards at the 8th Oceanic awards, which were presented in Loughrea last week.
In the Hairdressers of the Year category the Outstanding Achievement went to Hair by Jasmine (Carrick-on-Shannon).
In the Hairdressing Experience of the Year category the Outstanding Achievement award went to The Salon (Castlerea) while Recognised for Excellence was Headerz Hair Studio (Ballaghaderreen).
In Boyle Erita D Nails & Beauty Boutique was recognised as Nail Salon of the Year with Melissa Coyle Nails in Strokestown bringing home the award for Nail Salon Experience of the Year.
The awards acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and creativity of the beauty industry in Ireland.
Other neighbouring salons presented with awards were Madden’s Hair and Beauty in Carrick-on Shannon in the Beauty Salon Excellence of the Year category while VIA Professional, Carrick-on-Shannon were recognised for excellence in the Lash Experts category.
In the Spa of the Year category Kilronan Castle Estate and Spa in North Roscommon won the Recognised for Excellence award.
This year the awards were split into three chapters. Chapter 3 shone a spotlight on the salons and individuals that operate across the Connaught region as well as Cavan, Monaghan & Donegal.
