BREAKING:  Serious road traffic collision in County Roscommon

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in County Roscommon.

The Roscommon Herald understands that at least one person has been seriously injured in the collision, which occurred earlier this morning a few miles from Roscommon Town in the Donamon area.

It is also understood that the road at the location has been closed and diversions are in place.
