Bring Teddy Home appeal
The teddy that has gone missing from the Croghan-Elphin road.
An appeal has been made this afternoon to bring a teddy home.
According to reports on Elphin Our Town social media page the teddy went missing from from the Croghan-Elphin road on Saturday evening.
The teddy, decked out with the Shannon Gaels colours, was left outside a local home in support of the local U-14 girls team who were competing in a county final in Elphin on Saturday.
Balloons and flags were put out and teddy, with its own Shannon Gaels colours, sat proudly outside the home. However, when the hone owners returned from the match the teddy was gone.
"Can whoever took this teddy, please just leave it back where it was as the football gear is personalised and needed for Monday. Children are very upset that it has been taken," said the owners.
