Local Link will now operate the Strokestown to Carrick-on-Shannon route

A bus service between Strokestown and Carrick-on-Shannon has been transferred to a new operator as and from today Sunday, June 28th.

Bus Eireann last week confirmed that route 468, which the company operated on behalf of the National Transport Authority (NTA), will cease to operate this weekend but will be transferred to TFI Local Link.

A spokesperson for Local Link said that from Sunday, June 28th the Strokestown via Elphin to Carrick-on-Shannon service, “will move from Bus Éireann to operation by TFI Local Link Longford Westmeath Roscommon, continuing to run to the same timetable and frequency, including two return trips on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, ensuring continued connectivity for passengers".
