Caution has been urged on County Roscommon roads tonight as fallen trees are blocking some routes.
In West Roscommon there are quite a few reports coming in of trees and telecom poles down on roads.
With an orange weather warning set to last until 2 a.m. on Monday morning motorists are being asked to avoid any unnecessary journeys.

"Please stay at home if at all possible," is the message this evening from Fianna Fail Councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice.
With the Loughglynn to Castlerea Road blocked with a fallen tree and the Kilmurry church road blocked, the councillor says that "the council will only go out to clear trees on Main Roads when it is safe to do so and on a case by case basis".
