County Roscommon actor, Chris O’Dowd, will be appearing on The Late Late Show tomorrow (Friday) evening.

The Boyle native will be on the RTÉ chat show alongside Hollywood star Christina Hendricks as they chat about their new series Small Town, Big Story, set in rural Ireland.

O'Dowd will share his experience filming at home again, while Hendricks will discuss her time on set.

Last year, the former Roscommon minor goalkeeper and his wife Dawn O'Porter returned to Boyle to open the town's hugely popular Arts Festival.

Comedian Steve Coogan, who starred alongside O'Dowd in Moone Boy, which was filmed in Boyle, will also be on the show to talk about bringing Dr. Strangelove to the stage at Dublin’s Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. He will also reflect on his iconic character Alan Partridge and his journey to finally getting an Irish passport.

Stand-up star Katherine Ryan will be in studio to chat about her Irish roots, her upcoming tour, and the romantic twist that saw her marry her high school sweetheart two decades after they first met.

Music will be provided by Gabrielle, the 90s icon behind Dreams and Rise, ahead of her gig at the 3Arena.
