Chris pays tribute to late film icon

Chris O'Dowd with the late James Earl Jones
Roscommon actor and writer Chris O’Dowd has paid tribute to the late James Earl Jones.
Mr Jones, who iconically voiced Star Wars’ villain Darth Vader, died yesterday at the age of 93. Known for his sonorous voice, he had a long and successful career on stage and screen, from Stanley Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove to the Lion King.
Posting on X, formerly Twitter, last night, the Boyle man shared a photo of himself with Mr Jones.
“A voice that stopped you in your tracks. Rest easy legend,” he wrote.
