Christmas tree lighting ceremony

There will be a special festive visitor to the county this evening.

Taking time out from the family business, Mrs Claus will be joining the community at Monksland for their annual tree lighting ceremony.

Always a wonderful family event, it will feature a Christmas concert, and will take place at the Supervalu Carpark at 7pm.

All are welcome to attend. The event is organised by Monksland Town Team and supported by Roscommon County Council.
