Contractor sought for €1.2m Roscommon homes retrofit programme

A contractor is being sought to carry out energy retrofit upgrade works on 38 social homes in the county.

Roscommon County Council recently advertised the tender for the works on the Government’s etender platform. The home upgrades will include building and electrical installation work, and plumbing and sanitary works.

The house retrofits will be carried out under the Government’s Energy Efficiency Retrofitting Programme 2024.

Each local authority, including Roscommon, has received a funding allocation under the programme.

The time-limit for receipt of tenders for the Roscommon contract is May 21st, and the estimated valued of the contract excluding VAT is €1.2m.
