Leitrim County Council has agreed to meet with residents from a housing estate in Carrick-on-Shannon to discuss a number of issues which are causing concerns for homeowners.
At a meeting of Carrick-on-Shannon Municipal District, Cllr Cormac Flynn asked for a delegation from Leitrim County Council to meet with a delegation from the Towns Park Residents’ Association “to discuss persistent and pertinent issues which are adversely affecting the safety, amenity and quality of life of the residents.”
In a report by the acting director of services for housing, planning, corporate services and transformation, the Sinn Fein councillor was told: “A cross department delegation from Leitrim County Council can meet with the Townspark Residents Association at a time agreeable to both parties.”
