An online Lotto player from County Mayo has won Wednesday night’s €17m Lotto jackpot.
The win is the third largest in the history of the Lotto.
The winning numbers were 2, 6, 20, 22, 26, 29, with a bonus number of 5.
Ireland's biggest win in history came on January 15th, 2022, when a family syndicate won more than €19m from a ticket bought at Laura's XL on the Hopkins Road in Castlebar.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that the third largest Lotto jackpot ever, an eye-watering €17,008,295, has been won by an online player in Mayo,” National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said.
