County Roscommon man’s climb raises nearly €13,000 for Hospice

An Oran man who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro as a fundraiser for Mayo/Roscommon Hospice last January raised €12,748.82 for the charity.
Derek Harrington from Oran scaled the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, almost 20,000 feet above sea level.
The Hospice Foundation said that it was so grateful to Derek and “all who supported and helped him to raise an amazing amount of money for the charity”.
