County Roscommon motorists advised of week-long road closure

Roscommon County Council has advised motorists that it will be temporarily closing the L-1616 Tarmon, Castlerea road for a week to facilitate road works.
The closure will take effect from Wednesday, September 4th. The road will remain closed until Wednesday, September 11th.
Motorists are advised that a diversion will be in place via R377/N60/R361. "There may be an increased likelihood of delays on these roads as a consequence. Emergency Services and local access only will be accommodated on the Tarmon road," said the council.
