County Roscommon property listed among Ireland’s ‘100 great places to stay’
The “delicious menus” at Gleeson's Townhouse have been praised.
Gleeson’s Townhouse, Roscommon has been included in a Sunday Times list of the ‘100 Best Places To Stay in Ireland this Summer’.
Located on the Market Square in Roscommon Town, the 19th century townhouse, features on the list alongside internationally recognised hotels such as Adare Manor and the K Club.
The Sunday Times describes the hotel as “a principal player in the region’s hospitality industry” and notes the “delightful welcome the family guarantees its guests”.
The Sunday Times also praises the “delicious menus” and “elegant interior”.
Gleesons’ Townhouse is listed under the ‘Head outside and pack in an adventure’ due to its proximity to activities such as the Arigna Mining Experience and Lough Key Forest Park where guests can “get their adrenaline fix” because getting outdoors is the “best way to experience Irish hospitality”.
