County Roscommon student is awarded Advanced Masters Scholarship

A young Boyle man has been awarded an Advanced Masters Scholarship by the School of Computer Science, University of Galway.
Aaron Flynn (23) from Greatmeadow attended Abbey Community College, Boyle before going on to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Galway (2021-2024).
He has now been awarded the Advanced Masters Scholarship by the School of Computer Science, University of Galway, beginning his Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence programme this academic year (2025/2026).
To acknowledge this achievement, Aaron was presented with his award by Dr Aaron Golden, Vice-Dean for Research and Innovation, College of Science and Engineering, University of Galway, at the School of Computer Science Awards Day.
