Cycling Inclusion Day at Lough Key

Cycling Inclusion Day at Lough Key

Lough Key Forest and Activity Park

A cycling inclusion afternoon in The Louth Key Forest Park in Boyle will take place tomorrow, Saturday March 7th from 12p.m to 2p.m.

Families with children with disabilities can come and cycle on a range of special mobility bikes in a safe space.

The bikes include side by side tandems, wheelchair bikes and special mobility trikes.

This new initiative is designed to ensure people with mobility issues have supervised access to cycling on a range of special mobility trikes at locations across Sligo, Roscommon, Mayo, Leitrim, Galway and Donegal every month.

The initiative is in partnership with Commotion Mobility and supported by the HSE, the Department of Transport and the Department of Children, Disability & Equality, Variety Ireland’s “Cycling Inclusion West Mobile Unit”.

The perfect way to spend a Saturday and support communities.
