Death of daughter of well-known Roscommon man widely mourned
The late Michelle Tiernan.
The death of Michelle Tiernan, daughter of well-known Kilmore man Joe Tiernan, following an illness is being widely mourned.
Michelle, Lucan, Dublin and formerly of Castleknock, passed away on August 24th 2025, at her home.
She is the dear daughter of Joe and the late Mary Tiernan, loved sister of Marika and Sharon and beloved Aunt to Ruby, Yana and Max.
Michelle is sadly missed by her loving father and his partner Kathy O’Flynn, sisters, brothers-in-law Darren and Reuben, nieces, nephew, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and her wide circle of friends and carers.
Funeral Mass took place at Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock on Monday, September 1st followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.
Her father Joe had been a very prominent figure in the construction industry in Dublin for many years.
