Disruption to train services in County Roscommon this weekend

There will be disruptions to train services through County Roscommon on the Westport line this weekend.

Iarnrod Eireann has advised that train services from Ballyhaunis, Castlerea and Roscommon Town to Dublin will be disrupted on Saturday, August 2nd due to bridge works being undertaken between Ballyhaunis and Roscommon.

Bus transfers going both ways will be in operation between Athlone and Ballyhaunis, with some services going directly between the two stations, and secondary services stopping at Castlerea and Roscommon.

Customers from Castlerea and Roscommon are advised to check for service alterations before travelling this Bank Holiday weekend.
