Driver arrested after turning back from checkpoint
Gardaí stopped the car on a backroad and found the NCT had expired 5 years.
Members from Roscommon and Longford Roads Policing Units were conducting a Mandatory Intoxicant Test checkpoint in conjunction with the RSA, Revenue, Co. Council and social welfare recently when they saw this car turn back from checkpoint.
Gardaí stopped the car on a backroad and found the NCT had expired 5 years.
After failing a roadside oral fluid test for Cannabis, the driver was arrested. A court date is due to follow.
