Driver hospitalised after collision this morning

A three vehicle collision took place in the county this morning.

Athlone Gardaí received a report of the three-vehicle road traffic collision at Monksland Village at around 10:00am. The incident involved a truck and two cars.

The driver of the truck was brought to Roscommon University Hospital for assessment.
