Elderly woman hospitalised following County Roscommon road traffic collision
Gardaí, ambulance and fire personnel attended the scene.
An elderly woman was hospitalised this evening, Wednesday, following a road traffic collision involving a number of vehicles in Castlerea.
It’s understood that the woman was brought to Mayo General hospital in Castlebar following the accident in lower Patrick Street in the town.
The incident occurred at around 7.30 p.m. this evening.
Gardaí, ambulance and fire personnel attended the scene.
A section of the road was closed for a time but is now open.
