Emergency services at scene of road collision in County Roscommon

Emergency services are this evening, Friday at the scene of a road traffic collision in County Roscommon.

The single vehicle collision has occurred at Cloverhill on the outskirts of Roscommon Town.

Gardaí, ambulance service and fire service personnel are currently at the scene on the main Roscommon to Ballymoe road.

It is understood that at least one person has been injured in the collision.

Motorists are advise that the road is open, but traffic is down to one lane and is being directed by gardaí.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area as the emergency services deal with the collision.
