Emergency services at the scene of County Roscommon house fire

Emergency services are this evening at the scene of a blaze, which has broken out at a house in Castlerea.

Several units of the Fire Service and gardaí are at the scene of the blaze in the Tarmon Manor estate on the edge of Castlerea town.

Fire service personnel are battling to bring the blaze, which has already caused substantial damage, under control.

It is not yet known if anyone was in the property when the fire broke out.
