Enquiries ongoing into alleged bogus callers

Roscommon Gardaí say that enquiries are ongoing into reports of alleged bogus callers to people's homes in the county.

When contacted by the Herald following reports of suspicious callers to people's homes seeking money, Gardaí confirmed that they responded to a report received in the Elphin area at approximately 4:30pm on Saturday, 6th of December 2025.

“Enquiries are ongoing,” a spokesperson said.
