One of the country’s most well-known and popular singers and songwriters was spotted in Roscommon Town on Thursday evening.
Dermot Kennedy was happy to mingle with locals over a pint in JJ Harlow’s.
It’s understood he will be a groomsman at a friend’s wedding in Ballymoe today, Friday.
Kennedy, known for his hits and , famously appeared on the 2020 Late Late Toy Show, surprising 14-year-old Michael Maloney when he was performing Kennedy's song .
He won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Irish Song of the Year in 2022 with His second album, — released in 2022 — topped the Irish, Scottish, and UK album charts.
He is the nephew of former RTÉ presenter, Mary Kennedy.
