Firefighters continue to battle flames this evening
Smoke billowing for a fire at Meelick, Loughglynn.
The fires in West Roscommon are continuing to spread this evening.
More than 40 firefighters are working to tackle the flames, which have caused significant damage to fields and forestry in the Loughglynn area.
A number of units from the local fire service are working to protect homes and property. They have been at the scene since lunchtime.
