Former restaurant granted permission to be converted into religious space

Permission was granted on Wednesday by Leitrim County Council to convert what was formerly Crumbs Sandwich Bar on Bridge Street, Town Parks, Carrick on Shannon (N41 E447) to a space for religious congregation.
There were two conditions attached to the planning that was lodged on May 15th this year.
The proposed church layout will consist of a tea room, a unisex and disabled bathroom and an altar, along with a new door and seating.
