Four 90th birthdays celebrated at special event in County Roscommon

Four 90-year-olds shared their birthday celebrations in Lisacul last week.

The birthdays of Mary Noonan, Johnny McCann, Pauline Duignan and Michael Boyle were celebrated in Lisacul Community Centre as part of the parish ‘Coffee Connect’, which is held on a monthly basis.

Despite the torrid weather, the community came out in force to join the celebrations and donate baked goods, share a cup of coffee and buy raffle tickets.

Coffee Connect has been held on the second Friday of every month and has provided a great platform for people to catch up with a friend or meet new people for those who have moved into the area.

The quadruple of 90th birthdays marked the final Coffee Connect of the year, and everyone was thanked for their donations throughout the year.
